RESUME
Professional Summary
5 years ago, I applied for an Art Teacher position at my now job. When I applied, I was determined to teach drawing and painting--what I had concentrated in in college. I had always practiced Graphic Design as a hobby, and didn't realize then how much I enjoyed it. When receiving the job offer, my now boss said to me, "This position is specific to Graphic Design, is this something you feel comfortable teaching?" Although it was not what I had concentrated my education in, given that it was something I practiced quite often, I confidently said yes. That decision changed my life. I have now spent 5 years teaching Graphic Design, and since the beginning, it has quickly become more than just something I teach, but a passion I cannot see my life without. Through years of educating myself and my students, and figuring out the ins and outs of Adobe programs, I quickly developed a need to do more than just teach Graphic Design, I need to work in the field.
